Our program offers Teaching Practice-1 and Teaching Practice-2 courses in the 7th and 8th semesters to help our students gain professional experience. As part of these courses, students acquire teaching skills by conducting activities such as observation and lectures for a minimum of six hours per week for 14 weeks at official educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, as determined by the provincial/district directorates of national education. Teaching practice takes place at educational institutions located in the provincial center where the faculty is located.

c) Clothing and equipment required for the job:

Protective equipment such as aprons, gloves, goggles, etc. are used in the laboratory courses in our program.

d) Expenses for consumables, tools, and equipment used in coursework; tuition expenses for exams, materials, and educational services:

No tuition expenses are charged.

Located in the city center of Balıkesir, our faculty campus includes three main buildings (A, B, and C) where classes are held, as well as a Reading Hall, a Continuing Education Center, a Distance Education Center, the Necatibey Faculty of Education Kindergarten, the Medico-Social Center, and the Altıeylül Neighborhood Polyclinic. The faculty includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, and computer laboratories, conference halls, and reading rooms. Necatibey Faculty of Education provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities (tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and an artificial turf football field) for students and staff.

f) Part-time student employment opportunities, including internships and practical training, are available under certain conditions.

Students who require financial support to continue their education are selected based on specific criteria and receive support for part-time work at their faculties, schools, institutes, or other university units. Our university's part-time student needs are announced at https://sks.balikesir.edu.tr and/or on student affairs bulletin boards in early October or as needed, depending on the nature of the student and the job. There is no fee for practical training in Teaching Practice 1-2 courses.
